Hello Parents and Guardians,
My name is Lee Lin, but your children may call me Mrs. Lee. I am so excited to have your children in my class for the next school year. This is a remarkable time in your child's life. Their brains and personalities are growing and maturing at an exponential rate. My goal is to establish an environment where they're allowed to learn on their own, while being supported by my assistant and me. We are very lucky to have Miss Laura Mullen as our assistant teacher this year. She is a graduate of TWU and is pursuing her master's degree. She will be a valuable asset to the growth of your child this year.
To give you a little taste of my personal history, I am a nine-year veteran of the Selwyn Preschool and have taught many of the various age groups, so I know how your early toddlers will develop as they age. Before Selwyn, I worked at Trinity Methodist Church's Mother's Day Out program and the Denton First Christian Church nursery for more than twenty years, and have taught math and Chinese at Carrollton Sun-Ray Chinese School concurrently. Furthermore, I have raised my own early toddlers (three of them) to ages 26, 24 and 19.
